Position Summary
Responsibilities include directing and coordinating activities of workers engaged in repair, upgrades, maintenance, and installation of machines, special projects, tools, and equipment, and in maintenance of buildings and grounds, by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinates.
Responsibilities include:

Coordinates maintenance activities, coordinates PM schedule and work assignments
- Supervises personnel, manages timekeeping paperwork, inventory control of maintenance parts
- Communicate with maintenance personnel, as well as, production supervisors, and production manager.

Responsible for holding training and informational meetings, maintains an efficient work staff

Engages in daily repair of production equipment

Diagnoses problems and determines necessary repairs

Repair and maintenance of building and associated plant systems & utilities including waste water treatment systems

Boiler checks, maintaining proper fluid and chemical levels

Maintains and repairs various pneumatic, steam distribution and control elements

Knowledge in use of equipment such as arc & acetylene systems, welders, threading & cutoff machines, along with a hand and portable power tools

Participates in training directed at increasing maintenance and other job related skills

Understand and complies with all company policies such as plant SOP’s, GMP, FDA, USDA regulations
The successful candidate will be detail oriented with above average organizational skills. Also self motivated, possess leadership skills and experience, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to interact in a dynamic team environment with a positive attitude and sound judgment.
Education/Work Experience: High School diploma & 3-5yrs Maintenance & Lead/Supervisor experience, or equivalent combination education work experience. Technical licenses a plus.
