Blount Seafood Corp. is now Blount Fine Foods


FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS (January 8, 2008) – Blount Seafood Corp., the leader in prepared gourmet soups, announced today that it has changed its corporate name to Blount Fine Foods.

 

The new name better describes Blount’s wide range of frozen and refrigerated soups for leading retailers, club stores and restaurants. The name also encompasses Blount’s great seafood products which will still be marketed as “Blount Seafood”.

 

As Todd Blount, President, explained, Blount Seafood Corporation began over 60 years ago processing shellfish for the seafood and foodservice industry. “Over the years, our product line has expanded and evolved. Now, we are known to be the leader in the gourmet soup industry as well. We wanted the name to reflect the variety of products and services that we provide.”
