The Blount family has been in the food business since 1880. Our product Line includes refrigerated and frozen gourmet soups, sauces, side dishes and entrees for food service and retail. Blount's gourmet soups and specialty foods are made with the finest and freshest ingredients, handcrafted by our dedicated team through unparalleled customer collaboration. Our seafood background establishes us as the largest producer of clam chowder in New England and the largest manufacturer of Lobster bisque in the country. But this does not limit us from making awesome beef chili, chicken tortilla or organic tomato soup.

Blount's customers include national restaurant chains whose custom soup is Made especially for them according to their secret recipes. Similarly, the deli departments of many large and small supermarket chains have Blount create Their hot-to-go soup selections, as well as refrigerated store-brand pre-packed soup cups. Blount also carries a full line of refrigerated and frozen soups sold to restaurants, club stores and retailers nationwide under the Blount, Legal Sea Foods and Panera Bread brands. Blount operates production facilities in Fall River, Massachusetts, and in Warren, Rhode Island.

Blount Fine Foods is deeply rooted in the New England seafood industry. The first family members came to work the Narragansett oyster beds just after the Civil War. In 1880s Eddie B. Blount started an oyster packing firm in West Barrington, Rhode Island. read-more
